The Space Cat With No Name
Space Cat is a lovable rogue who may seem self-serving, but has a heart of gold. He lives in a galaxy that is largely unexplored but the known planetary systems are oppressed by a dictatorial governing body.
The Space Cat was developed as a character for an animated series. He is an alien being in another galaxy that is a cross between a cat and an insect. I used sphinx cats and insects like grasshoppers as references to create a concept sketch.
After developing the Space Cat's traits and mannerisms, I used Zbrush to make a digital sculpt.
