The Last Days of Captain Crunch
"The Last Days of Captain Crunch" project was my submission for a group art show that I was invited to be apart of. The show was titled "Monsters of Advertising" and was held at the Mothership Toy Art Gallery in Philadelphia, PA. I chose my favorite cereal mascot, Captain Crunch. Captain Crunch has always been my favorite cereal and when I was younger, it included the best toy prizes. This piece was a tribute to all of those aspects.
The project started with the above sketch of an aged Captain Crunch turned pirate after a hard life at sea.
